Of posting and Penang

In the name of Allah the Most Gracious and the Most Merciful :)

Before doing my KPLI in Kedah, I had never been to Penang and Perlis. Kedah pernahlah sekali dua. For me, bahagian utagha sangat jauh from Terengganu dan rasa sangat sangat tak familiar.

It turned out that I like Kedah. Very very much.
Jitra and Alor Setar especially :)
I don't mind living anywhere(tapi lagi best kalau dekat bandar lah huhu).  As long as I have a housemate! Kalau ada family or close friends around tu bonus lah. Living alone would be my worst nightmare. Which explains my recent anxiousness when I was being informed that I'll be posted to Pahang. Takut sangat kalau tercampak sorang-sorang in the land of nowhere. But Allah is being too nice to me, He gave me Kuantan :) and I am currently living with my sister and my nieces and nephew.

I can never thank you enough, dear Allah. I promised Allah, if I were to be posted in Kuantan, I'll turn over a new leaf. Allah knows, I have so many flaws. I will try and rectify them insyaAllah. I will try my best and keep my promise.

I promised a friend to try and write a review about my short trips to Penang :) 

Seumur hidup ni tak pernah pun menjejakkan kaki ke Penang, not even during school trips. Last year, since I was studying in Jitra and Hubby lives in Penang, I had the chance to visit Penang (the island part) few times.

- Penang sangat bersih kalau tengok daripada atas jambatan. Sangat sedap mata memandang.
- Ada Queensbay Mall. Besar jugak. Best jugak. Kalau hubby ada kelas, saya sanggup ditinggalkan di Queensbay Mall :)
- Ada PMC - Penang Medical College where hubby is currently studying. Kalau orang tanya dekat mana PMC ni, cakap je dekat Padang Polo.
- Sistem bas dia bagus jugak. Ada Rapid Penang. Nampak agak reliable.
- Sangat Multi-cultured. Ada ramai Malay, Chinese and Indians.
- Jalan ada yang berbukit-bukit. Kalau naik bas boleh rasa menaik dan menurun bukit.
- Bad bad traffic. Beware of reckless drivers. Bahaya naik motor.
- Relatively 'green'. Negeri lain baru nak start 'no plastic bags on saturday'. Kalau Penang in certain malls, everyday is no plastic bag day. Correct me if I'm wrong. Sebab saya pernah nampak signboard dekat satu mall ni cakap camtu. Tapi tak tahulah kalau sekadar my hallucination.
- Batu Feringghi. Pernah pergi tapi sekejap sangat. Very very crowded during school holidays.Kereta merangkak je.
- Ada tempat makan bernama Padang Brown. Famous.
- Ada banyak tempat makan. Yang menghadap laut pun banyak. Best place for sea food?
- Ada tempat nama Lorong Kulit. Boleh beli barang-barang antik dan second hand.
- Sewa rumah tak murah.

Pernah pergi short trips je to Penang... Tak pernah actually berholiday and bersantai-santai. Jadi, tak boleh nak give a holiday type of review huhu.
